I have a bit of a problem.

Wait, that’s not the best place to start. My online handle is Umbaglo, and I’m a bit of an indie game developer. I decided to start a blog to write down the various things I think up and plan out, so I can refer to them later, and also get commentary on if folks happen to see them. Finishing things isn’t my strong suit, though, so maybe this will help. In addition, I also maintain a board-based RP system for mecha battles called the Simulation Chamber.

I also decided to start a blog for a second reason, which gets back to my problem. Where some people collect stamps, coins, or even figurines, I collect video games. Well, I also collect model kits, but that’s a different subject. And because I buy so many of them, I tend to not get all that far in any of them before putting it aside for the next thing that comes up. And that’s just not right, really. So something I plan to start doing is a series of reviews of the huge list of games I own. Not so much a full one, though. My intent is that if I’m going to be playing only a few hours of a game to start with anyway before dropping it, I might as well give my impressions on it at the same time.

I’m going to start by going through my Steam game list, which at the time I write this is roughly 530 titles large. Though Steam also counts some things as games when they really aren’t. I don’t have any sort of update schedule sorted out, so they’ll mainly come out when I get one done. Later on I intent to also expand to my consoles, since I have a good recording system for them as well (and I do Let’s Play videos as well, which you can find at Talking Time).

So with the introductions out of the way, I’ll be back in the new year to get things rolling! See you then!
